What is Google Maps Platform?
Maps Platform supplies developer APIs and SDKs for location-based applications. Its console manages services and usage within a Google Cloud project. It differs from the consumer Maps website used to look up directions.
Open the right destination
Use the account associated with the work you want to open. If Google selects another account automatically, switch using its profile menu. Complete the destination’s identity checks and any required account setup.
Before you start
Your first useful task
- Select the project used by your application.
- Enable the required Maps API or SDK and review its setup requirements.
- Configure appropriate credentials and test the actual application integration.
A practical way to use Google Maps Platform
Choose the API that matches the task instead of enabling unrelated services. Document the environment and restrictions associated with each credential, and inspect usage when deploying a new integration.
Troubleshooting
A map displays an authorization or configuration error.
Check the API enabled in the project, credential restrictions, billing setup, and the error reported by the application. The key must match both the API and the environment using it.
Common questions
Is using the Maps website equivalent to having API access?
No. Developer integration has its own project, credentials, configuration, and usage terms.
Why does the direct link still ask me to sign in?
The shortcut reaches the application entry point. It cannot carry your Google session between browsers, grant permissions, or bypass verification. Follow the sign-in instructions on the destination service.
Do I need an account with The Login Link?
No. This directory does not require registration. The Open button takes you to the service; any account credentials are entered there.
