What is Google Contacts?
Contacts manages the address book stored with a Google account. It supports maintaining contact details, organizing people, and moving contact data between compatible systems. A device can also contain contacts from other accounts or local storage that are not in this web list.
Open the right destination
Use the account associated with the work you want to open. If Google selects another account automatically, switch using its profile menu. Complete the destination’s identity checks and any required account setup.
Before you start
Your first useful task
- Select the intended Google account and search for a known contact.
- Review the record before changing an email address or phone number.
- Use the available import, export, and duplicate-management tools for organized maintenance.
A practical way to use Google Contacts
Before a bulk import, check the file format and try to avoid importing the same list repeatedly. Keep an export when preparing a major cleanup so you have a reference for what existed beforehand.
Troubleshooting
A phone contact is absent from the website.
Inspect where that contact is saved on the phone. It may belong to another account or device storage. Web Contacts shows the selected account’s address book, not every contact from every source.
Common questions
Are contact labels mailing lists with membership controls?
Labels help organize your contacts. Google Groups is the more relevant destination for managed group membership and group email workflows.
Why does the direct link still ask me to sign in?
The shortcut reaches the application entry point. It cannot carry your Google session between browsers, grant permissions, or bypass verification. Follow the sign-in instructions on the destination service.
Do I need an account with The Login Link?
No. This directory does not require registration. The Open button takes you to the service; any account credentials are entered there.
